Welcome to Torihouse Primitives! As we live through the horrible effects of the Coronavirus, may we pull together as one and we pray for safety and good health for all of us. On a lighter note, I am pleased to present my April Offerings. Be sure to click on each picture for a larger view. Please be assured that we are following all CDC and Dept of Health guidelines in our daily lives and in any packaging we may send out. Regards, Arlene

"Feathered Nest Hanging Pinkeep"

I have stitched this pinkeep on linen, lightly stained with walnut crystals for that aged look.  The backing and the piece fabric on the front are a wonderful soft sage wool.  The pinkeep is filled with wool snippets. The front seam is primitively cross stitched.  There is a hand dyed Sari ribbon attached for hanging.  The designer is "Stacy Nash".  Measurements are approximately 8 inches by 4 and 1/2 inches. SOLD

"Liberty House Hanging Pinkeep"

A fun design that reflects our American heritage.  I stitched this pillow on linen that I have dyed.  It is filled with pure cotton stuffing.  A hand dyed Sari ribbon is attached for hanging.  A wonderful Civil War era reproduction fabric was used for the backing.  The design is by "Homespun Elegance".  The outside seams are all primitively cross stitched.  Measurements are approximately 7 and 3/4 inches by 3 and 3/4 inches. Offered at $39.00 which does include priority shipping and handling.

"Alphabet Sampler Pinkeep"

I love stitching small samplers.  This one is an adaptation of an early one.  It is stitched with hand dyed threads on hand dyed linen.  The outer seams are primitively cross stitched. The backing fabric is a matching Civil War era reproduction fabric.  I have attached early bone buttons on the front of the pinkeep.  Measurements are approximately 7 inches by 5 and 1/2 inches.  Offered at $37.00 which includes priority shipping and handling.

"Summer Glory Hand Hooked Rug"

With its center tulip flower surrounded by star flowers, this rug makes me ready for spring and summer!  The design is by Cammie Bruce of "Baskets of Wool".  I have hand hooked this rug on quality linen.  The rug is bound with wool strips encased with cording.  Measurements are approximately 14 inches by 17 inches.  Offered at $125.00 which includes priority shipping and handling.
