"St. Noel Pinkeep"

This is a fun design by "Brenda Gervais" which I enjoyed stitching.  The stitching is done on raw linen that I dyed with walnut crystals to give a primitive look.  The inside of the pinkeep is filled with pure cotton stuffing and the backing is a vintage "Thimbleberries" cotton fabric.  Primitive cross stitches surround the outside seams of the pinkeep.  I have attached two bells to the front of the pinkeep using a rusty pin.  Measurements are approximately 8 and 1/2 inches by 6 and 1/4 inches.  SOLD

"Santa Hand Hooked Wool Rug"

I love early Santa's and this particular one has a great look!   I have hooked the rug on linen and it is bound with wool strips encased with cording.  The background textures are a soft muted gold plaid wool to give the rug a  great primitive look.  Measurements are approximately 21 and 3/4 inches by 14 and 3/4 inches.  Offered at $135.00 plus shipping and handling.

"Christmas Journey Ditty Pocket"

I have made this primitive design by "Joyce Reed Folk Art" into a ditty pocket measuring approximately 8 inches by 6 and 3/4 inches.  The backing fabric and strap of the pocket are a great Old Sturbridge Village reproduction pattern.  The inside of the pocket is lined with a Civil War era reproduction cotton fabric.  The linen has been  stained with walnut crystals to create a nice aged look.  SOLD

"Prairie Vine Hanging Pinkeep"

I have stitched this pattern into a hanging pinkeep using hand dyed Sari ribbon.  The colors remind us of the falling leaves that turn these beautiful colors this time of year.  The backing is a vintage "Thimbleberries" fabric that compliments the threads I used for stitching.  The inside of the pinkeep is filled with pure cotton stuffing and the linen itself is hand dyed with walnut crystals.  The design is by "Threadworks Primitives".  Measurements are approximately 11 inches by 5 inches not including the ribbon.
